International hybrid conference “Social Aspects of Mental Health and Mental Disorders” (Organized under the project “Mental Health and Social Inequalities”, funded by NSF) 17,18,19 June 2022, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski ”, New Conference Hall Organizer: Sofia University The main goal of the international conference “Social Aspects of Mental Health and Mental Disorders” is to bring together leading scientists, researchers and stakeholders to share their research results and experiences. The conference provides an interdisciplinary platform for researchers to present and discuss topics related to inequality, social exclusion, stigma, discrimination, as well as aspects of care and integration of people with mental disorders. Conference topics: – Social inequalities and life chances of people with mental disorders; – Stigma – public attitudes towards people with mental disorders (media images and surveys on public attitudes towards people with mental disorders), discrimination and social exclusion; – Dignity and human rights – Institutional aspects of care – psychiatric and psychological care, social services and integration of people with mental disorders – Non-institutional aspects of care – Good practices in mental health care and social services – Mental health aspects related to the Covid-19 pandemic (including digital services) Admission to participation: Applicants who have successfully passed a selection by the scientific committee of the conference will be admitted to participate. Selection will be made on the basis of an abstract submitted in time (up to 300 words).
