This conference is the premier international venue for engineering scientists and professionals from around the world to exchange their latest findings and ideas in the field of Polymer Reaction Engineering (PRE). Held every three years, the 12th edition of this ECI conference (PRE XII) will focus on the fundamentals and tools necessary to solve problems relevant to manufacture and use of polymers in today’s society. This is a very dynamic area encompassing a wide range of topics including the kinetics of polymerization reactions, catalysis, reactor modeling and simulation, process control, and product design.

PRE XII will foster a collaborative environment for discussing the current needs of industry and society for energy efficiency, cleaner energy sources, sustainability, improved manufacturing processes and novel materials. It will include topics on renewable and recycled feedstock, data science and machine learning, multi-scale modeling and simulations, novel materials for (bio)degradability and circular economy. While the conference will be organized in the traditional manner with invited speakers, oral and poster presentations, the opportunity for young scientists and engineers to present their work will be emphasized.  A career session on potential employment opportunities in Polymer Reaction Engineering is also planned.
