The Jornadas de Jóvenes en Investigación Arqueológica (meetings of young researchers in archaeology) are an annual scientific meeting in which students of the science get together with the objective of sharing knowledge, establish contact networks and debate over current themes in the field of archaeological research.
The JIA possess a format that stimulates debate in an environment of collaboration and coexistence and are an extraordinary opportunity for young researchers to share ideas, perspectives and establish contact with other young professionals. Likewise, they are also an exceptional opportunity for young researchers to acquire experience in presenting their research work. If you have little or no experience in participating in scientific meetings, the JIA are an ideal context in which to start.
For who?
The JIA are organized for and by young researchers in Archaeology. Therefore, they are a meeting where Bachelor, Master or PhD students can show their research work, independently of its stage of development, therefore having the opportunity to share and discuss it with other young researchers.
