Prior to attending my first IARP conference, I did not have much experience or knowledge within forensics and was quite frankly intimidated. During the pre-conference, I sat in the back of the session absorbing as much information as I possibly could and taking note of the experts around me who had a wealth of knowledge and experience. By the second day of the conference, I gained mentors that were open to guiding me in the field and industry, providing me with resources.
