The ACM International Conference on Interactive Media Experiences (IMX) is the leading international conference for presentation and discussion of research into interactive media experiences. It brings together researchers and practitioners from a wide range of disciplines, from human-computer interaction, multimedia engineering and design, to media studies, media psychology and sociology.

Conference theme:

“Riding the Waves of Innovation and Diversity in Interactive Media.”

that will be hosted at Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), in the city of Niterói, in a short-distance to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from June 3rd to 6th, 2025. This is the first time the conference will happen in the Southern Hemisphere and the first time in Latin America. IMX has been expanding its frontiers in recent years, promoting diversity and inclusion.
