Unifying Cancer Science and Medicine: A Continuum of Innovation for Impact

It is our pleasure to invite you to attend the 116th Annual Meeting of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), which will take place on April 25-30, 2025, in Chicago, Illinois. The AACR Annual Meeting is the critical driver of progress against cancer, the place where scientists, clinicians, other health care professionals, survivors, patients, and advocates gather to share and discuss the latest breakthroughs. From population science and prevention; to cancer biology, translational, and clinical studies; to survivorship and advocacy; the AACR Annual Meeting showcases cutting-edge cancer science and medicine.

The theme of this year’s meeting is “Unifying Cancer Science and Medicine: A Continuum of Innovation for Impact.” It reflects the critical importance of advancing cancer research from the bench to the clinic and back to the bench-a synergistic process in which basic and translational revelations lead to discoveries and innovations that improve patient outcomes, while patient experiences also inform future research and discoveries.

As the touchstone of the cancer research community, the AACR Annual Meeting is the place where science and medicine come together-where scientists, clinicians, other health care professionals, survivors, patients, and advocates gather to discuss the latest breakthroughs, make connections, and forge new collaborations.
