The conference, which aims to address all aspects of art producers’ and critics’ engagement with gendered bodies and a social order based on inequality, as well as how gender roles based on ideologies of domination, socio-cultural fictions, and heteronormative systems are produced, supported, and critiqued through art, offers leading academics, researchers and practitioners the opportunity to present and discuss their work and shed new light on the field.
