The 58th Annual ESTA Conference will take place at University College London between 12th – 14th September 2025.

The programme will again include a mix of keynote speeches and interactive workshops, running from Friday evening until Sunday afternoon.

Highlights include:

• An opening keynote by Ben Lepley (ESTA President), who will explore the role of the Geologist in the Mining Industry.
• Hands-on sessions on Maps, Mapping and Microscopes.
• A bring-and-share session.
• A conference dinner at the Memoir Club, Bloomsbury, with an after-dinner speech by Clive Mitchell (BGS), who will reflect on 35 years as an Industrial Minerals Geologist.
• On Sunday we will get a unique behind-the-scenes glimpse at the National History Museum with a number of special workshops planned.
