We are delighted to invite you to Brisbane (Meeanjin), Queensland, Australia, for the annual PSANZ Congress.  This year’s theme is ‘Navigating Futures Together‘.

The congress will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, nested within the beautiful south Brisbane region, close to the Southbank parklands and cultural precincts. Pre-congress meetings will be held on the 14-16 March, and the main event on the 16-19 March.

Our theme, ‘Navigating Futures, Together,’ represents the often-uncharted road we take as perinatal researchers, clinicians, and consumers toward new knowledge to drive improvements and reform in perinatal health. It also speaks to the journey of the woman, navigating her new future as a mother with a newborn and all that is represented for the families who remain at the heart of all we do.

Our congress logo was created by Bindi Lee Day, a proud Quandamooka Noonuccal woman. Entitled ‘Borning’, the artwork is a modern interpretation of the development, importance, and spiritual significance of the ‘Borning’ journey from pregnancy to birthing to motherhood. This resonates beautifully with the PSANZ mission to improve the health and long-term outcomes for mothers and babies.
