NASW-CA is excited to announce that the 2025 Annual Conference will be held in person, and we can’t wait to engage with hundreds of social work and social service professionals this fall! The 2025 conference theme is Social Workers Moving California Forward: A Commitment to Change and will explore a range of topics related to the practice of social work and leadership in a post-COVID world. On November 14 and 15, we will be gathering at the Marriott Hotel in Irvine, CA to re-engage, reimagine, and reconnect with you through innovative programming, networking, and inspiring workshops and speakers.

The Conference Call for Proposals is Now Open We invite all corners of the social work profession to submit a conference presentation proposal and help us set the tone for this year’s event! These 90-minute presentations will cover a broad range of topics from clinical practice issues for experienced practitioners to advocacy, leadership, and social justice work. We look forward to reviewing your proposals and sharing your knowledge.
