Rising Star Award
The “Rising Star” award has been given to a select group of exceptional junior principal investigators each year. Awardees provide a podium presentation in a special session at the annual conference.

The CMBE Graduate Student Travel Award recognizes a graduate student researcher who will attend the 2025 BMES CMBE Conference to present their outstanding research in the field of cellular and molecular bioengineering with a lightning talk.

The CMBE Post-doctoral Researcher Travel Award recognizes a graduate student researcher who will attend the 2025 BMES CMBE Conference to present their outstanding research in the field of cellular and molecular bioengineering with a short talk.
