We are honoured to be co-convening the 2025 National Cancer Survivorship Conference hosted by COSA in partnership with Flinders University, the Australian Cancer Survivorship Centre (based at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre), and the VCCC Alliance.

For over 10 years, there have been two Australian cancer survivorship conferences, hosted by different organisations, based in different cities. For the first time, these two events come together to deliver a unified Australian event.

With the theme ‘BUILDING CAPABILITY AND CAPACITY IN SURVIVORSHIP CARE AND RESEARCH’ we will highlight the importance of advancing survivorship care from the individual to the health system perspective.

Plenary sessions include:

• What is capability and capacity in survivorship and how to build it

• Building capacity at home

• Implementation and health system planning

• The basic science of cancer survivorship

• Global survivorship 

• Metastatic cancer survivorship
