On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our distinct pleasure to welcome you to the 17th Scientific Meeting of the Asian Association for the Study of Diabetes (AASD 2025), held in conjunction with the 46th Annual Meeting of the Diabetes Association and the Endocrine Society of the R.O.C. (Taiwan). This distinguished event will take place at the Taipei International Convention Center (TICC) in Taipei, Taiwan, from March 28 to 30, 2025. The AASD 2025 Congress is authorized by the Asian Association for the Study of Diabetes, and organized by the Diabetes Association of the R.O.C. (Taiwan), with co-organization from The Endocrine Society of the R.O.C. (Taiwan) and the Taiwanese Association of Diabetes Educators.

This year’s conference theme, “Precision Medicine in Diabetes,” underscores our commitment to advancing personalized approaches in diabetes care. The increasing prevalence of diabetes across Asia, coupled with the region’s diverse ethnic backgrounds and healthcare needs, highlights the critical importance of focusing on precision medicine. This Congress provides a vital opportunity to explore cutting-edge research, clinical insights, and innovative strategies tailored to our diverse populations, and to advance our understanding of diabetes through a comprehensive program of discussions and educational sessions.
