The Social Work and Social Care Research Conference is an annual event (which started in 2013) organised by the Social Care Council, in partnership with the research community, to offer a platform in Northern Ireland for social workers, social care practitioners, service users and carers, policy makers and experienced academics and researchers, to engage with each other about research and evidence, and present research findings.
The Northern Ireland Social Care Council (the Social Care Council) is delighted to host the 12th Annual Social Work and Social Care Research in Practice Conference.
This year’s theme is:
“Making the connections in research and evidence – Collective leadership, workforce planning, change and service user involvement.”
This event is an excellent opportunity for sharing valuable research and evidence supporting knowledge exchange for social care and social work across Northern Ireland.
Those who would be interested in attending include: researchers, managers, staff in learning and development teams, academics, students, social care and social work practitioners, practitioners in other professions and people with lived experience who receive these services and their carers.
