Dear Participants of the 11th International Conference on Robotics and Artificial Intelligence – ISTCRAI 2027,
We are currently living in an era of extraordinary technological progress. Until recently, many solutions that are now becoming part of our everyday lives were primarily the subject of research and experimentation. Autonomous vehicles, intelligent manufacturing systems, collaborative robots, advanced computer vision systems, and machine learning algorithms are no longer merely a vision of the future. They are becoming a reality.
Advances in artificial intelligence and robotics present us with enormous opportunities, but they also come with great responsibility. That is why we need not only excellent algorithms and precise designs, but also careful reflection on their applications, limitations, and consequences.
This is precisely why the interdisciplinary nature of ISTCRAI 2027 is especially significant. Robotics and artificial intelligence are increasingly becoming less distinct fields. Their convergence opens the way to systems capable not only of performing programmed tasks but also of perceiving their environment, learning, making decisions, and adapting their behavior to changing conditions.
The conference will place special emphasis on topics related to autonomous vehicles, human-robot collaboration, machine learning, computer vision, and the ethical aspects of artificial intelligence. Each of these areas raises questions of fundamental importance. How can we ensure the safety of autonomous systems operating in unpredictable environments? How can we design robots that will interact naturally and safely with humans? How can we develop machine learning models so that they are not only effective but also reliable and responsible? How can we ensure that artificial intelligence systems are able to correctly interpret complex environments?
I am sure that the research and solutions presented at ISTCRAI 2027 will find applications in many key sectors of the economy and social life. I hope that these two days in Prague will provide you with an opportunity not only to present your own work, but also to establish new academic and professional connections, launch joint projects, and find inspiration for further research.
I hope that your participation in the 11th International Conference on Robotics and Artificial Intelligence will be an inspiring and rewarding experience. May the research presented here stimulate new questions, may the discussions lead to new ideas, and may your interactions with other participants open the door to future projects. I hope that each of you will leave Prague not only with new knowledge, but also with the sense that you have become part of an international community of people who are working together to shape the future of robotics and artificial intelligence.
I wish you productive sessions, inspiring meetings, meaningful discussions, and many new ideas that, once the conference is over, will find their way from the conference rooms to laboratories, businesses, and above all to the real world.
