Dear Colleagues,

I am excited to announce that the 30th anniversary edition of the EAHP Congress will take place in Barcelona, Spain, between 18-20 March 2026. Hospital pharmacists across Europe will gather again and seize the moment to explore a broad spectrum of topics—from the latest advancements in pharmaceutical science and technology, to the evolving role of pharmacists in the management of complex diseases via teamwork and collaboration across various roles and responsibilities to achieve the highest standards of patient care.
Over the three-day period, we will engage in discussions about the regulatory landscape, best practices in multidisciplinary medication therapy management, and the ways in which we can innovate and collaborate to overcome the ever-growing demands of our healthcare systems. Teamwork in patient management is essential for ensuring safe, effective, and comprehensive care that involves a collaborative effort among all healthcare professionals, including hospital pharmacists.

The diversity of expertise and experience that will gather from all EAHP member countries at our congress is a powerful reminder that, while our daily challenges may vary, our shared goal is the same: to ensure that patients receive the best possible treatment through the safe and effective use of medicines and medical devices. Through an enriching and stimulating few days of learning, sharing, and growing together, we will demonstrate how an effective communication and coordination between team members help to minimize medication errors, facilitates de-prescribing, optimize therapeutic outcomes, and enhance patient safety. And, perhaps most importantly, let us remember that our work, though often behind the scenes, has the potential to transform lives in ways that are both profound and lasting.
