As a leader in the global trend of scientific and technological innovation, China is creating an increasingly open environment for scientific and technological innovation, expanding the depth and breadth of academic cooperation, and building an innovation community. These efforts have made new contributions to advancing globalization and building a community with a shared future for mankind. In order to adapt to the changes of the world and the rapid development of China in the new era, the 2022 8th International Conference on Environment and Renewable Energy (ICERE 2022) will be held during February 25-27, 2022 in Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam. The conference aims to facilitate the exchange of the latest and advanced information among scientists and engineers in a wide range of fields such as “environment” and “renewable energy”. In particular, the Forum aims to promote exchanges and cooperation between basic researchers and those engaged in the development of practical technologies in related fields such as environment and renewable energy.
