The role of language in cross-cultural communication, remote language instruction, reflective learning, and the influence of language in media are amongst the array of topics that will be addressed at the 2nd World Conference on Language Learning, scheduled for October 18-20 in Manchester, UK. Language is our principal means of interaction with the world, our conduit for absorbing knowledge, and a key element in defining our place within our communities. With the advent of new technologies, the domain of language learning has been enriched, presenting a plethora of new possibilities. This vibrant area of scholarly inquiry will be represented by a variety of research papers at the forthcoming conference.

The event will be held in Manchester, a city renowned for its cultural diversity. Participants are advised to allocate one or two additional days to their visit to explore the city’s exquisite and less-explored sites.
